I SCORED! YIPPEE!
It was a good one too! Karl's goal was also OK.

Good Start Old Boy!...
A fine start to the season I think you'll agree! If we ignore the first match that we had to cancel (and therefore concede a 3-0), we are unbeaten in three games. Three clean sheets for the Panther and eight lovely goals (including one for myself!).
How long will it continue?
Also a welcome back to 'angry' Davies and 'steam train' Webb!

Reporter Booth - Game Review 20/04 : vs El Ninos
Smyth Academicals 0 vs El Ninos 1
K.O. 6:30
A fine looking group of athletic players took to the field last night in an effort to uphold the good name of the Robert smyth school. All omens pointed to a disappointment from the start, as the white rabbit that is Martin Cripwell (aka Butterboots) was telephoned at home at 6:45 to get his posterior to the ground. But the super striker duly arrived and the game commenced. After losing the toss (tails for wales) the welsh captain retired to defend the downwind end.
The game started late, but brightly, with both teams held in a midfield tussle for supremacy. The first of our chances fell to the left winger who’s shot flew across the face of goal but not troubling the keeper.
Then the el nino’s replied with a counter-attack ending in the ball drilled towards the bottom right corner, but parried wide for a corner.
The only goal of the game came early in the second half, a good move from the el ninos split the defence and the ball was drilled in to the goal from 6 yards, past the flailing arms of the fat pantherish keeper. The marmalade heads went down in dejection and could not find a reply, Although our best chance came from a long throw out from the keeper, landing on the footy of the balding winger but only to be muffed up completely. The game ended hand-shakes all round, and a quick round at the sugar loaf.
